I recently bought an apartment in Manhattan. It was mostly in move-in condition, but there were a few fixes I needed. I'd recently met Craig and heard about Home Remedy and thought he was just the person to fill the bill. His work dismantling a built-in hamper in a tiled bathroom and impeccably filling the space so it looked like new was a work of art. He hung a swag chandelier, replaced uneven tiles in the kitchen, hung drapery rods and a mirror in the bedroom and he left each workspace pristine! My to-do list shrunk and my settling in increased. I'm delighted to recommend Home Remedy! -Jane P.
Change, even when it's an improvement, can unlock a Pandora's box of worry, doubt and indecision. Such was the case when I moved to a new apartment and needed bookshelves mounted. Plus heavy IKEA Cabinets--same, wall mounted. Then a mirrored bathroom cabinet, same, only that wall was tiled. A huge antique beveled mirror, mounted. Kitchen lighting installed. And more, lots more. My good fortune was having hired Craig and Home Remedy. He entered with an aura of confidence and calm. Every now and then in response to a highly stressed question Craig would put down his drill or hammer or screwdriver and go over the details. And he'd remind me that it was a new place and a new chapter. The work was something to celebrate. Everything would be fine, he said. And it was. In fact, everything was more than fine. The work was expertly, efficiently done. And done on time. I'd hire Home Remedy again in a flash. Hard to believe, but he actually made the experience something I remember with fondness. And gratitude. The place looks terrific! -Deborah B.
